2 Alarms Fire Fighters Trapped, 11 Park Vallei lane, Parkside Borough  | | Arriving companies had heavy fire 1st floor of a 2 story Town House. The 2nd alarm was requested for trapped fire fighters due to a collapse of the 2nd floor. Three fire fighters were rescued from the bldg by fellow Fire Fighters and transported to Crozer Chester. Companies went to an exterior attack. 2 Fire Fighters received serious burns, while 1 was treated and released.
My thoughts and prayers are with the injured Fire Fighters, their families and Company-45.

Injured Firefighter Update 8/23/07
On August 21, 2007, Firefighter Dan Brees was released from Crozer Hospital. Dan is now at home with his family recovering from his injuries. The Brees family has asked that Dan not be approached for comment as he still has some recovery time ahead of him.
Firefighter Chase Frost continues to be listed in Critical Condition at Crozer Hospital. Questions regarding Chase’s condition should be directed to Crozer Hospital.
