| 2 story 30 x 60 apartments. Heavy fire 1st floor with extension to 2nd floor and thru the roof. The wind was a big factor in this fire. Freezing temperatures and wind blown water made for lots of ice. Numerous handlines stretched plus 2 deck guns. Limited access to the bldg for apparatus also hampered operations, by limiting their options. A long narrow driveway only allowed for one truck up to the scene. |
