238 Bayberry, car into house with fire  | | Fire companies arrived o/s to find a car had gone through a garage door of an attached garage under a 2 story mor dwelling. Heavy smoke conditions throughout the dwelling with fire in the basement/garage area. The woman had driven backwards down the driveway after passing out, took out a wall then went through the garage door coming to rest against the inside walls. When the f/d arrived the tires were still spinning and the woman was passed out at the wheel. Police, M-8 and Upper Darby 9A grabbed the woman, then M-8 drove the car out of the garage so firefighters could access the fire. The fire was brought under within 15 minutes.
