42-9 arrived to a 1 car mva, car vs pole, with heavy pin. He immediately called for the 2nd Rescue. Medics requested Pennstar to fly for the serious injuries.

Company 44 was dispatched for the car into the house with 1 person trapped. On arrival they found an suv fully inside the house with serious structural damage and the occupant of the car still inside. Crews removed the victim through the rear hatch door and ems transported her to the hosp.

Medics were dispatched to the intersection for an mva. On there arrival they reported a 2 car mva with entrapment, and req an addl medic and bls. Rescue-43 did the door pop, ems transported to Crozer. A 3rd ALS/BLS were requested for another victim in the WaWa parking lot with chest pains.

Newtown Fire Company was dispatched for the mva with a person pinned under a car. on arrival, they had 3 cars, 1 in the ditch off the road, 1 in the middle of the intersection and a 3rd with a victim under the front bumper. The victim under the car was pronounced at the scene. You will notice an embossed watermark on these pictures now. In an effort to stop insurance adjusters from stealing the pictures for their use.

P/d and EMS were dispatched for the mva with injuries. First P/D unit o/s reported a vehicle on it's side with multiple entrapment. The rescue assignment was dispatched. Rescue-5(56), Rescue-4(58) & Rescue-1(38) were all o/s for the extrication. Pennstar-1 & 2 landed in the parking lot adjacent to the scene. Haverford twp medics and ambulances 56-7, & 34-7 were o/s for patient care.

Ladder-20 was involved in an MVA while responding to a working fire on Providence rd. 1 F/F was trapped inside the officer seat, Rescue-19, 26 & 42 worked together to extricate him. The extrication took approx 57 minutes. The trapped F/F was flown to H.U.P. and was released later that night. All 6 F/F's were treated at area hospitals and released that day. Numerous ALS/BLS were also on scene for treatment and transport of all the F/F's. Everyone worked well together and did a fantastic job.

1 car vs pole with serious injuries and entrapment. Rescue-01 & 42 for extrication and cribbing. 76 handled hazards and the hand line.

Upper Darby companies got the call for an mva with entrapment shortly after 3am. P/D arrived o/s reporting an suv on it's side with partial ejection. UD-9A arrived confirming P/D report and reporting the subject was trapped partially under the vehicle. Companies stabilized the car and used air bags to raise the one side to remove the victim. She was transported to H.U.P. by D.C.M.H. Medics. The car left the road hit the hill on the corner and caught some major air before hitting the porch and coming to rest against the chimney of the house.

P/D arrived o/s to a one vehicle mva, pick up truck into a pole with the engine compartment well off. P/D & EMS removed the driver before F/D's arrival. 42-2 arrived and went in svc with an 1-3/4 line and knocked the fire.

***IMPORTANT*** I have learned that an insurance company has pirated approximately 60 pictures of this incident from my site. I have removed many of the pictures of this incident due to this. I will be contacting the DA & PSP in regards to this piracy. This also means that future mva's will be limited in what is posted. It might be wise for this company to own up on it's own. ****
Companies were dispatched for the MVA with fire on I-95 at the split for I-476. A tractor trailer and large box truck hit head on and burst into flames on impact. The box truck travelling south bound crashed thru the gaurd rail went up the embankment and airborn coming down onto the cab of the tractor trailer. The driver of the box truck was D.O.A. Boeing Fire Department was there with the crash truck and went into svc on the tractor trailer with the turret and foam. 67 arrived and went into svc with 79 on the tractor trailer, while 17 & 70 arrived to go into svc on the box truck. EMS transported the driver of the tractor trailer to Crozer in unk condition.

I'm sorry to report, that it was learned the driver of the box truck was a long time member of the Colwyn Fire Company, Delaware County, Pa. He was currently serving as a Fire police Captain.

2 car mva, 1 car into the shoulder barrier. 1 transported, no entrapment. Companies secured hazards, and assisted EMS.

Yeadon Fire Company responded to a 1 vehicle MVA, Car Vs. Tree. They had 1 female pinned under the dashboard. 16-9 Requested Rescue-19 to respond. Crews went in svc to stabilize the vehicle while they revoved 2 doors and a dash displacement. 16-7 with medic-105 on board transported the female to Fitz as a trauma code.

Company-19 got the dispatch for the mva car into a pole with injuries. 19-9b arrived o/s confirming the mva with injuries and requested an add'l als & bls. A 3rd als & bls were also requested to the scene. Company 19 helped with triaging patients and hazards. Victims were transported to H.U.P. & C.H.O.P.

Rescue-43 & 01 operated together to extricate a female victim heavily pinned. She was T-boned on the passenger side & pushed into a traffic pole. Medics stabilized the patient while the rescue companies took a door & the roof to remove her. Ambulance-02 transported the victim to crozier.

Companies arrived to find a car onit's side into a pole with the victims trapped. Rescue-42 went into service with stabilization and extrication while Ems worked on the victims. 3 als were requested to the scene.

Rescue assignment was dispatched for IFO 1016 Summit. Rescue-42 & Company o4. Medic 105 arrived reporting 2 victims trapped. The front seat passenger was thrown into the back seat of the car. Rescue-42 popped the door while crews from 04 handled hazards and the stand by line.

SUV into the guard rail. Driver was partially ejected out the passenger window. Trapped between the vehicle and guardrail. Comapny-58, Rescue-56 & 38, Medic-108 & 56-7. Haverford Special Ops A.I.D. for the investigation.

Company-19 received the call for the mva at Stewart & Wycombe at approx 16:05. 19-9 arrived o/s requesting a medic and confirming entrapment. Rescue-19 went in svc for the door pop, while medics treated and transported the injured. Company-19, ambulances, 19, 16 & 04 along with Fitz Mercy medics were all o/s.

Sprinfield Fire Company & Medic-53 got the dispatch for the mva with entrapment. On arrival they found a 2 car T-bone accident with one victim DOA. The driver of the other car was ransported to Crozer in unk condition.

Ambulance 24-7 was involved in an MVA while responding to another accident in the area, at Marshall & Owen. Preliminary reports show the ambulance had the green light and the other vehicle ran the red. The jeep then flipped onto it's side trapping the 2 occupants. Hearing that an ambulance was involved and entrapment, rescue-19 who was in the area with rescue-20 for the other accident responded in on this job via verbal from rescue-20. Company-20, rescue-26 and engine-37-1 were the dispatched response. DCMH medics were also on scene for patient care and transport. 1 victim was transported to C.H.O.P. while the other was transported to H.U.P.

The driver of this vehicle passed out shortly before hitting the wall and tree. Fortunately he got out of the vehicle before it caught fire. He sustained only a broken nose. Unfortunately for him, he was detained later on some outstanding warrants.

Philadelphia Engine-54 was involved in an MVA while responding to a tactical box. They took a hard broad side hit to the driver side rear of the truck, which sent the truck into a sideways slide across the road coming to rest on the front steps of a home. In all, 9 cars were involved in the accident. 8 of those vehicles were parked cars. 4 firefighters and 3 civilians were all transported with minor injuries. Engine-5, Ladder-13, B/C-7, Deputy-1, V/C-1 and 4 medics were on scene.

A trash truck lost control heading South bound on I-95 just before Rt-420. He crossed thru the center gaurd rail hitting 4 cars in oncoming traffic in the N/B lanes of 95. A woman her young child and the trash truck driver were killed in the accident.

Medics requested the rescue assignment for a car into tree in the 6400 block of Market St. Rescues-16 & 26 worked together on the extrication. 2 occupants were transported to H.U.P. as trauma alerts with serious head injuries.

This car was struck up on Baltimore Pike in the intersection of Baltimore & Bishop. The operator then lost control and went thru the fences and over the wall plunging down into the Home Depot Parking Lot. The 2 occupants suffered non life threatening injuries.

Companies were dispatcched for the mva with entrapment. 03-9 arrived and requested a 2nd rescue and helo to be placed on stand-by. Rescue-19 & 20 worked together with crews from 03 for the stabilization and extrication. DCMH medics and ambulances from 03 were on scene for patient care and transport. The driver of the pickup was flown to H.U.P. by Pennstar.

Upper Darby P/D arrived o/s reporting a 2 car MVA requesting at least 3 medics and the rescue assignment for entrapment in both vehicles. The Jeep was occupied by the driver only, the car was occupied 3 times. 2 of the injured in the car were serious injuries. DCMH Medics and ambulance 34-7 were o/s for treatment and transport of the 4 victims. Company-20, Rescue-26, Upper Darby-12 & Upper Darby 9c were all on scene for the extrication and hazards.

1 vehicle fatal mva. Car hit concrete steps then into pole. The driver was heavily pinned, the passenger transported as a trauma code and was pronounced at the hospital. The driver is in very critical condition. Rescue-20 & 26 for the extrication & stabilization, Medics-101, 103, 103-7A & 03-7 treated and transported both victims. It's been learned that the driver succumbed to her injuries also.

1 Vehicle MVA, Jeep Cherokee vs Tree. 2 heavily pinned. 5 injured, driver is in serious condition. Rescue-16 & 19 worked together on the extrication. Total extrication time was 1hr 7 mins. Mercy Medics, Ambulances from Yeadon, Lansdowne, East Lansdowne,& Darby Boro.

2 vehicle mva,pickup vs car. 1driver confined with a door pop.

1 vehicle MVA pick up truck into a light standard then flipped onto it's side. 2 victims trapped. Rescue-08 performed the extrication, while Co-02 stood by with a line and for hazards. Crozer medics with 02-7 & 02-7a treated and transported both as trauma alerts. Male victim was in & out of Consciousness

1 Vehicle mva, pickup truck rolled over with driver trapped. Rescue-26 & 20 with Upper Darby-12, Deputy Chief Shuster had the command.

DCMH medics requested the rescue assignment for an auto into a tree with the driver pinned. Rescue-20 & 26 responded and worked together for the extrication & stabilization. A 28 yr old female was transported to H.U.P. as a trauma alert with multi trauma to the face, chest & legs.

At approx 02:10 in the morning, police and Fire both recieved the dispatch for the mva with entrapment. P/D arrived o/s requesting the F/D and EMS to expedite. 04-9 arrived o/s reporting heavy entrapment. Fitz Mercy Medics along with Medic-04, and ambulance 16 were o/s for patient care. Rescue-42 & 16 performed the lengthy and difficult extrication. The driver a 25 year old female was transported as a trauma code. The passenger also a young female is in serious condition at H.U.P. with multiple fractures to the lower extremities. Pennstar was brought in to fly the victim. The flight crew was brought down to the scene for patient care also as the extrication was prolonged. The accident is still under investigation as for a cause. Fire department and EMS personnel did one hell of a job getting the victim out of this car.

1 Vehicle MVA, pickup truck vs pole. Reported that kids jumped into the back of the pickup. The driver then started swerving back & forth trying to knock the kids out of the truck, ending in the mva. The driver was heavily pinned. Rescue-1, Squad-47 & Ladder-13 did the extrication. Engine-68 stood by with a water line. B/C-7 had command.

Pipeline-28, Ladder-10 and Rescue-1 were on scene for the extrication of the driver of the van on it's side. Medics transported a 54 yr old male as a trauma transport. This was a 2 vehicle MVA, the van was t-boned by another car going thru the intersection. It is unk who was in the right.

1 car MVA, off the road into the creek. Dispatched as mva with entrapment. Driver crawled out on his own. Rescue-26 remained o/s for the retrieval of the car. Medics from DCMH transported the driver to H.U.P. as trauma transport for mechanism.

Rear end collision late night on Lansdowne Ave. Medics from Fitz Mercy ambulance 19 & 24. Rescue-19 for the hazards.

Both Upper Darby & Haverford received the call for a multi vehicle MVA with a car on it's roof. 56-3 arrived 1st to find a 1 vehicle MVA with a car into a pole on it's side with 1 occupant trapped. 56-3 went into service with the tool. Rescue-26 & Rescue-20 both arrived and assisted 56 with the extrication & Stabilization of the vehicle. Ambulance 56-7 along with Medic 108 and Medics from DCMH were o/s for patient care.

2 car MVA with numerous injuries. Reported to be mostly minor. 1 child unrestrained in back seat thrown to the front seat. With all the damage to the front of the Altima, you might think the air bags would have gone off?! Company 19, Ambulances 19, 24, 16, & o4, Medics from Fitz Mercy.

Baltimore Pike across from the Granite run Mall entrance, a spot frequently visited by Station-69 & Rescue-54. 2 add'l medics & bls were requested to the scene. Medics from Riddle & Medic-23 were o/s.
