Cmd arrived to report heavy fire on the 3rd floor of this 3 stry garden style apartment complex. The fire was in the Harbour Club apartments (bldg-4) and with cmd not sure if the fire was extending into building #5, the 2nd alarm was struck. Interior crews held this fire in check with a good agressive attack.

A-22 called communications and reported smoke showing. The box was struck for 1430 North dupont Hwy at Ron's Place Restaurant. The working fire dispatch was struck and Cmd-28 reported heavy smoke showing with several subjects trapped. A second alarm was transmitted. It was VERY hard to get close to the scene as State Police had the area SHUT DOWN once it became a fatal. Reports were of at least 2 subjects DOA at scene.

AOF - 801 West 6th street. Chester crews go to work on a 200X70 odd shaped commercial property with fire that started near the roof in a 50 ton crane. Crews had this job under control in an hour.

Chester-11 arrived to report a 3 stry dwg with heavy fire conditions 1st floor. Within minutes he reported fire on all floors and requested the 2nd alarm. Crews set up several master streams and the Tower-82 and Squrt-81 went to work. Bulk of the fire was knocked within 30 minutes.

Once again Springfield opened it's doors to the public for their annual Open House. A well opranized event with several stations to help educate the public in fire safety and dispite the weather, had a good turn out.

Upper ChiChester units put a line in service on this storage trailer. The fire was knocked quickly on tank water.

Tac-45 pulled up to report a 2.5 stry SFD with heavy smoke showing. There were initial reports of entrapment, but all occupants were accounted for. An aggressive interior attack made this a nice stop.

I arrived to this 2 alarm shortly after they started getting water on the fire. Crews had their hands full as a water supply was tuff to establish initially. Thanks to my Daughter Alexis (11year old) for taking alot of these shots as I was asked to pump the 63 Truck for a bit.

At just past 12:30 hrs, Co-44 was dispatched to the 700 block of Baltimore pike for the mva. Four pts were treated and FD assisted EMS on removing 2 subjects that were confined.
