| A dedication and unvieling of a plaque in the memory of officer Dennis McNamara was held adjacent to the scene where he was brutally murdered. Police officers from Upper Darby, State police, and surrounding community departments, as well as Fire Departments, Government officials and citizens were all on hand for the ceremony. Mrs McNamara was also on hand with her 2 children. She stated, she knew Dennis was there with us all in spirit and was just waiting for the rain. Shortly after the ceremony, the rain did come, just enough to let us all know "He was there with us". |
