Apprehension of Bank Robbery suspect at Lansdowne & Stewart by Lansdowne & Upper Darby P/D's.

Bank robbery suspect apprehension at State & the Pike. High speed pursuit from Marshall rd, Lansdowne ave, to State & the Pike. Robbed the citizens bank on Baltimore Pike across from Home Depot. Ran with a money bag that had dye pack in it that went off. Ditched money in a dumpster by Modells. A good description and numerous calls from witnesses seeing him flee helped catch him also.

3 males were shot in the parking lot next to West Gate Pub. While standing and talking 2 males approached them and opened fire with a sawed off shot gun. A hand gun was also displayed. 2 of the victims ran to the Manoa Tavern to call police.

An alert Upper Darby officer on patrol noticed a car fitting the description of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection with a homicide. The car was parked under the rear of the Summit motor inn on Twp Line in Upper Darby. Officers confirmed from the desk that the suspect had checked in under a females name. Upper Darby E.R.T. was called in for the assignment. Officers surrounded the bldg and apprehended the suspect with out incident.
